BACKGROUND OF THE WRCF PROGRAMME

A consortium led by DAI has received funds from the UK Government through the Department for International Development (DFID) to setup the Western Region Coastal Foundation (WRCF).

WRCF will organize and support effective dialogue between the oil, gas and power companies (OGPs) communities, relevant stakeholders and government agencies. It will also work with public institutions and private sector companies to help maximize the impact of corporate social investment (CSI) fund in the six coastal district (Shama, Sekondi- Takoradi, Ahanta West, Nzema East, Ellembelle and Jomoro) of the Western Region.

In addition, the foundation will pursue social and economic development activities that provide opportunities for households to diversify their income source and increase their economic and social capital through market-oriented interventions in selected value chains.

Currently in its inception phase WRCF seeks to engage individuals consultants/firms to provide market-oriented business and others service to identify beneficiaries.

REQUIRED SERVICE AND EXPERTISE

The prospective consultant/firm is to conduct baseline studies, support values chain analysis and implementation design, and develop strategies for identified themes etc, Consultancy service will be needed in the following areas:

SUBMISSION OF EXPRESSION OF INTEREST

WRCF now invites individual consultants / consulting firms to indicate their interest in providing any of the service mentioned. Interested individual consultants /consulting firms must provide the following information:

Individual consultants:

• Signed curriculum vitae demonstrating their experience in the similar assignments
• Information and evidence to demonstrate experience in executing similar service
• Transmittal letter explicitly indicating your ability to work out of Takoradi when necessary.

• Capability statement from consulting firms
• Information and evidence to demonstrate experience in executing similar service
• Transmittal letter explicitly indicating your ability to work out of Takoradi when necessary.

Consultants /Firms will be selected in accordance with WRCF’s general and competitive procurement process. Expressions of interest must be delivered by registered mail/ email to the following address by 5:00pm on Friday 17^th July 2015:
