The shares of Tullow Oil shooted up yesterday as recently the company has hit a gas find in Ghana.
The Africa-focused oil and gas explorer announced that it had encountered gas condensate in excellent quality sandstone reservoirs at its Tweneboa-3 well.
The company’s exploration director Angus McCoss said the find was "a great result that also demonstrates the strong predictive capabilities of our seismic data." Tullow Oil shares closed 1.4 per cent up at 1,350p.
