The Tema Oil Refinery (TOR), has resumed operations following months of closure.
The refinery was shut for 10 months due to a major fault in the Regenerative Unit situated in the Residue Fluid Catalytic Cracking (RFCC) Plant. As a result, the refinery couldn’t process crude for the market.
However, Public Affairs Manager of TOR, Dr Kingsley Antwi-Boasiako has revealed that operations have resumed.
He told Class Business that the facility will be producing a maximum capacity of 25 thousand barrels per stream day.
He further assured the preparedness of the technical team in case of any eventualities.
