The Petroleum Commission of Ghana in collaboration with the Ghana Geophysical, ION, and the National Fisheries Association of Ghana (NAFAG) are embarking on a “2D Seismic Survey” in the seas of Aflao through Keta, Ada, Accra, Winneba, Apam, Cape Coast, Sekondi, Takoradi to Axim and Elubo from April to June 2018.
Owing to this, the Commission is organizing a workshop on Thursday, 3rd May, 2018 to sensitize the general public and all stakeholders on the impending activities on the seas and to assure fishermen that their day-day activities will not be disrupted. However, due to the nature of the exploration, it is advised that all keep a safe distance of 500 meters away from the vessels. The event will be held in the Conference room at the NAFAG at 10:00am
