Consultancy Service for production of Mining, Oil & Gas Sector GHEITI Report for 2014.
The Government of Ghana has received financing from the World Bank under the Ghana Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (GHEITI) and intends to apply part of the proceeds for consulting services.
The consulting services (“the services”) include the production of Mining Oil &Gas Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative Reports for 2014 Detailed Terms of Reference can be obtained from the address below
The Ministry of Finance now invites eligible consulting firms (“Consultants”) to indicate their interest in providing the Services. Interest Consultants should provide information demonstrating that they have the required qualifications and relevant experience to perform the Services. The shortlisting criteria for the Mining sector will include: Expertise in Economics, Minerals Economics in Mining Engineering/Geology, Accounting, Mathematics and Statistics Auditing and Financial Analysis or related fields with a minimum of ten years post qualification experience, excellent knowledge of the Ghanaian extractive industry particularly the mining sector and a track record in similar work and preferably proven experience with EITI reporting ;excellent command of spoken and written SAP reporting software, Excellent command of spoken and written English, etc. The criteria for the Oil and Gas sector will include: Expertise in Petroleum Economics, Accounting , Mathematics and Statistics, Auditing and Financial analysis or related fields with fifteen years post qualification experience ,
Excellent knowledge of the Ghanaian extractive industry and oil and gas in particular , a track record in similar work and preferably proven experience with the EITI reporting , familiarity with the SAP Reporting software, excellent command of spoken and written English.
The attention of interested Consultants is drawn to paragraph 1.9 of the World Bank’s Guidelines: Selection and Employment of Consultants under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits & Grants by World Bank Borrowers (October 2011 Edition).
Consultants may associate with other firms in the form of joint venture or a sub consultancy Qualification) method set out in the Consultant Guidelines.
