Quantum Petroleum Limited has increased its branch networks in the country to 28 following the opening of a new one at Dansoman in Accra.
The new branch is expected to serve the needs of customers in and around Dansoman and its environs.
It will also meet the increasing needs of customers as well as provide employment to people from that catchment area, the Executive Director of Jonasu Ghana Limited, partners of Quantum Petroleum, said in Accra.
“We want to move closer and improve our services to customers in this country as well as expand our existing customer base,” he said.
The Executive Director announced that his outfit would, in the near future, establish a hospital at Kasoa that could employ over one thousand people.
“On the issue of unemployment, the government alone cannot do it. The individuals who have the means to support should come in so that the issue of unemployment will be a thing of the past,” he added.
He also appealed to traditional rulers to make lands available for the company to open more branches to enable it to contribute meaningfully to the economic growth and the development of the country.
Present at the grand opening was the Chairman of Quantum Petroleum, Mr Nazem Karroum, who said the peaceful nature of Ghana had motivated many foreign nationals to establish businesses in the country.
