President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo will on Tuesday, November 7, 2017, launch the Accelerated Oil and Gas Capacity (AOGC) Program at the Regional Maritime University, Accra.
The launch is in fulfillment of the Government’s campaign promise of aggressively investing in education and skills enhancement of Ghanaians to manage the oil and gas sector.
That’s according to a statement issued and copied to otecnews in Accra on Monday, November 6, 2017.
The statement which was signed by the Communication Specialists at the Ministry of Energy, King A. Wellington and Nana Kofi Oppong-Damoah said, the program will build capacity in four thematic areas namely:
1. Technical, Vocational, Apprenticeship Development and Utilisation
2. Capacity Development of Educational Institutions;
3. SME Capacity Building
4. Public Institutional Development & Sector Management
