Petroleum Commission investigates dismissal of Ghanaians on FPSO
The special committee set up to investigate alleged arbitrary dismissal of Ghanaians on the floating production storage and offloading (FPSO) vessel Kwame Nkrumah has started work.
The committee, set up by the Petroleum Commission begun hearing submissions on the matter from the mother company of the workers, Sea World Enterprise Limited.
The contract of the company is reported to have also been terminated after four years of operation on the FPSO leading to the dismissal of the workers.
Other companies involved in the alleged arbitrary dismissals are also expected to present their case before the committee tomorrow.
The committee is expected to complete its investigations by close of this week.
