OFFSHORE DRILLING MATERIALS COORDINATOR

A reputable company is looking for an offshore Drilling Materials Coordinator to control all company materials and logistics activities at the rig site (Offshore Ghana Deepwater)

Contract duration:3 months – 6 months

Working arrangement:21/21 or 28/28

DUTIES:

• Liaise with drilling supervisor regarding all supply vessel movements and helicopters
• Act as focal point for all offshore marine and aviation matters on the installation, providing support and guidance as required
• Actively participate including planning with deck crews and crane operators during offloading and backloading of all company, rig & 3^rdparty equipment including bulks
• Produce manifests, with all back-up documentation from the rig and 3^rdparty companies
• Issue daily backload notification document to deck supervisors highlighting known and anticipated backload
• Assist drilling supervisor in compiling the daily lookahead with regards to vessel, helicopter timings and requirements
• Perform visual check of all rental tools and tangibles arriving on the rig to ensure that the correct items have been received in correct quantitiy and in satisfactory quality (as can be determined from a visual check)
• Maintain rental register for all 3^rdparty equipment
• Maintain stock inventory of all company-owned equipment on board
• Participate in the daily rig call as the focal point for logistics
• Liaise with the onshore logistics supervisor daily

QHSE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Participate in the rig safety management system including safety behavioural programme, risk assessments, pre-tour meetings, toolbox talks and safety meetings
• Comply with the Exceed Management Systems particularly the procedures and Guidance Documents relevant to Operations. Provide improvement suggestions to the Management System.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• University degree preferred, but experience in a similar role will be considered
• Minimum five years in a similar role
• Provedn ability to maintain a strong safety culture within the organization
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
• Excellent in Microsoft office

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Regular offshore travel
• BOSIET /BST
• Offshore medical
• Valid offshore survival certification
• Qualified in transport of dangerous goods by air and sea (IMDG/IATA)
