VOLTA RIVER AUTHORITY INVITATION TO TENDER
Contract Name: INSTALLATION OF UNDERGROUND FUEL TANKS FOR THE VRA DREDGING UNIT AT ADA

- Volta River Authority (VRA) of the Republic of Ghana intends to apply part of its budgetary allocation to fund eligible payments under the Contract for the Installation of Surface Fuel Tanks for its Dredging Unit at Ada.
The Works comprises the necessary excavations and concrete works to Install 2No.13, 500.00 litres underground fuel tanks, duct and pipe work and other associated ancillary works.
- The Volta River Authority invites sealed tenders from eligible Contractors who have registered with the Ministry of Works and Housing and with a minimum financial classification certification of D2 and can demonstrate experience of having executed similar projects.
The total estimated period for the completion of the project is six (6) Months.
- Tendering will be conducted through the National Competitive Tendering procedures specified in the Public Procurement Act, 2003(Act663) and the Public Procurement (Amendment) Act,2016(Act,914) and is open to all tenderers as defined in the Guidelines of the Public Procurement Authority of the Republic of Ghana.
- Interested eligible Tenderers may obtain the Tendering Document and further information and inspect the tendering documents at the address below during office hours from 09:00 to 15:00 hours GMTeach working day from November 13,2017 to November 30, 2017.

- A complete set of Tender document, in English, may be purchased at the office of the address stated above for non-refundable fee of two Hundred Ghana cedis (GHC200.00) in cash or certified cheque in the name of Volta River Authority .
Tender Documents shall be available from November 30, 2017.
- Tenders shall be completed ,sealed and marked” TENDER-INSTALLATION OF UNDERGROUND FUEL TANKS FOR THE VRA DREDGING UNIT AT ADA’’, addressed to the Chief Executive Volta River Authority ,P.O. BOX MB77,Accra, Ghana and delivered at the Engineering Services Department Conference Room,VRA-Akuse, in the Eastern Region on December 07,2017 by 11:00hoursGMT. Tenders shall be valid up to 180 days after the deadline of Tender submission. All tender must be accompanied by a tender security of Four Thousand Ghana Cedis (GHC4000.00). The Tender security shall remain valid for 208 days after the deadline of the Tender Submission.
- Tenderers who wish to visit the project site, at their own cost shall meet at the Office of the VRA Dredging Unit at Ada in the Greater Accra Region at 11:00a.m on November 22, 2017.
- Tenders will be opened in the presence of representatives of Tenderers who choose to attend at the Engineering Services Department Conference Room, VRA-Akuse in the Eastern Region immediately after 11:00 hours GMT on December 07, 2017.
Late submissions will be rejected
