Oil and Gas in Ghana : Stained with Oil

In December last year commercial production began and just last month the country marked the first anniversary.

Already things are starting to change – new businesses setting up to service the offshore oil industry, an increase in population, and spiraling expectations.

But a year into commercial production more complicated issues seem to be coming up – from concerns that expats are controlling the sector to reports of disparities against the local workforce.

In this documentary, Stained With Oil – Kwaku Owusu Peprah explores these issues and finds out if Ghana can indeed achieve its projected 90 pecent local content by the year 2020
