MODEC Announces Joint Venture with JILMEC

MODEC Ghana Limited had announced a Joint Venture partnership with JILMEC to become MODEC Production Services Ghana JV Limited (MPSG) which aims to provide world-class operations and maintenance services in the oil and gas industry in Ghana.

The vision of this joint venture is to join forces and resources to maximize MPSG’s ability and pioneering role in developing solutions to succeed in its market.

“The formation of MPSG is another step in our journey to build a strong and sustainable business in Ghana, demonstrate the benefits of synergies with local businesses while transferring world-class skills and knowledge to grow the industry and the economy”, said David Gleave, MPSG Board Chairman and General Manager. “This partnership will help us to deliver on our commitments to our client, key stakeholders, our workforce and the community.” Mr. Joseph Owusu, CEO of JIMLEC remarked.

This also mean that the business operations of MODEC Ghana Limited (MGL) which remains a major shareholder of MPSG has officially been closed and all onshore and offshore business operations have now been transferred to MPSG.
