President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has appointed Mr. Kwaku Addae Antwi-Boasiako as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Minerals Commission.
He replaces Dr. Toni Aubynn who was appointed as the CEO of the Commission in April 2014.
Mr. Kwaku Addae Antwi-Boasiako comes to the Commission with vast experience in the mining industry of Ghana and Africa.
With over 19 years’ experience in the mining industry, he was the immediate past Managing Director of Great Consolidated Diamonds Ghana Ltd., Akwatia.
He previously worked for Ashanti Goldfields Company (AGC) and AngloGold Ashanti (AGA) for over 13 years, rising to become the Head of Human Resources, AGA West Africa Region- Ashanti Assets.
He was also the Head of Group HR AGC, coordinating seven HR managers across the African continent.
Mr. Antwi-Boasiako holds MSc HRM degree from Graduate Management School, Salford University, UK and BSc (Admin) from University of Ghana, Legon.
