DESIGNATION OF ATUABO GAS PROCESSING PLANT AS A CUSTOMS AREA
It is announced for the information of the general public that, with immediate effect ,the Atuabo Gas Processing plant (and connected operation for the receipt and processing of natural gas ) is hereby designated as a customs area in line with relevant provision of the Ghana Revenue Authority Act 2009 (Act 791 )and the customs ,Excise and preventive service (Management )Law 1993 (P.N.D.C.L. 330).
This means that all activities in the designated area including but not limited to natural gas receipts ,processing transfers, sales of natural gas and petroleum products by the Atuabo Gas Processing plant shall be conducted under the general supervision of the Customs Division of the Ghana Revenue Authority .
It is hereby further announced that the same condition ,powers and authority shall apply to all similar future gas processing operation in Ghana.
