NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC TO SUBMIT COMMENTS ON THE DRAFT ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT STATEMENT (EIS) ON THE PROPOSED 2D SEISMIC IN THE ONSHORE VOLTAIAN BASIN BY GNPC

Pursuant to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Act 1994, Act 490 and Regulation 16 of the Environmental Assessment Regulations 1999, LI 1652, the Environmental Protection Agency has received a Draft Environmental Impact statements (EIS) from (GNPC) on the proposed 2D seismic in the Onshore voltaian Basin

The draft Environmental impact statement (EIS) of the proposed project is available during working hours at the following places

Notice of the proposed 2D seismic project is hereby served for public information as required under the procedure for the conduct of EIA in accordance with Regulations 16(1) of LI 1652. Any person (s) who has an interest, concern, or special knowledge relating to potential environmental effects of the proposed undertaking, may submit written comments within twenty-one (21) days from the date of this notice to the Environmental protection Agency, to assist the Agency in the decision making process of this project. Kindly quote reference No. 72/04/29.
