Call to expedite action on oil bill

The Trade Union Congress (TUC) has called on Parliament to put national interest above partisan consideration when debating important national issues such as bills on the Oil and Gas find.

This is because the level of Partisanship in the debate of the bills over the management of petroleum revenue is disappointing.

The Secretary General of the Union, Kofi Asamoah, said this at the review policy meeting in Accra in the context of the changes in Ghana’s status as an oil and gas producing country.
