The tape was released within the same time a controversial draft audit report carried out by Ernst & Young was published in the Daily Graphic.
The report has allegedly indicted the BDCs of indulging in some criminal activities that have led to the indebtedness of BOST.
Senyo Hosi has rejected the claims saying “money is being extorted from me and for that reason I reported myself, that this has to be dealt with otherwise I cannot do my job. We reported to the sector minister and he set up a committee to look into it.”
r. Hosi had in an earlier media briefing said the leaked tape is a move to deliberately malign him and the members of the Chamber by creating the impression that “the accusations of bribery to connive and rob BOST are true.”
“Anybody who thinks that I should be arrested should go ahead and come and show us how. When money is being extorted from me, if somebody is just telling me my tyre is down, tomorrow this is that, so you are compelled to succumb to the pressure.”
Meanwhile, the National Security has reportedly taken over the investigation of the case.
Senyo Hosi further welcomed the move saying “we have told the world that they should come, there is nothing to hide. Whatever you want its available within the industry. If I cant find it, everybody can find it for you.”
