Dr Kofi Koduah Sarpong was appointed in January under the Akuffo-Addo administration to replace Mr. Alex Mould, at Ghana National Petroleum Corporation. Dr. Sarpong has contributed enormously to the country’s business phase serving different sector and businesses.
He worked as the Deputy Managing Director at Produce Buying Company Ltd, a Deputy Chief Executive at Ghana Cocoa Board and Head of Admin & Finance at the International Cocoa Services Division Organisation in London.
Dr. Sarpong also served as a Director of SIC Insurance Company Limited in June 2008. Until 2016, Dr. Sarpong was the Chief Executive of The Global Haulage Group, and the Chairman of the Boards of both The Royal Bank Ltd and Imperial General Assurance Ltd.
Dr. Sarpong holds a PhD in Industrial Business and Studies from the University of Warwick and is currently the Chief Executive Officer.
